PhD colloquium

The PhD Colloquium is an initiative for and by PhD candidates of the faculty of Humanities. In collaboration with the Graduate School of Humanities, on average four times a year, a PhD colloquium is organised in which PhD candidates and external candidates can present their research and discuss it. In an informal setting, the PhD candidates give a short presentation on their research.
As part of their PhD track, the PhD candidates attend at least five meetings during their appointment, and once give a presentation on current research (together 1EC). Registration is arranged through the Graduate School.

All PhD candidates are welcome and it is not necessary to register for the meetings. If you wish to give a presentation on your own research, you can send an email to You can do so at any time during the PhD track. Invitations to the PhD colloquium can be sent via the FGW PhD candidates mailing list and an announcement is made on the Facebook page of the Graduate School of Humanities. It is therefore advisable to register on this Facebook page.
